As a life application ministry, our mission is to go beyond simply teaching Scripture. We strive to unfold the Word of God in a way that is clear, practical, and relevant to your everyday experiences. By presenting biblical truth in a way that connects with real life, we help bridge the gap between hearing God’s Word and living it out with confidence.
Our goal is to empower you to apply God’s wisdom to every area of your life, your relationships, your work, your challenges, and your growth. We believe that the Word of God is not just to be studied, but to be lived, shaping the way you think, act, and walk with Christ each day.

As believers, we will never be able to repay Christ for His sacrifice for our sins on the Cross. So we surrender our lives, time, gifts, skills, resources to serve His kingdom here on the earth. Purpose in Christ Ministries was created with serving those in need across the globe.
We are looking for partners who will first partner with us in prayer. We pray that God will make our paths straight and go before us with His everlasting Grace for every mission we are assigned to. We ask you to touch and agree protection and increase for every seed the Lord trust our ministry to steward.

Statement of faith
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in Being with the Father. Through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation, he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit, he was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day he rose again in fulfillment of the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated on the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy universal and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.

Lead Pastor
She is the Senior Pastor of Purpose in Christ Ministries, where she shepherds with a committed team of her close pastoral colleagues to guide and nurture a vibrant, growing church family. She is also the founder of a theological seminary committed to equipping believers with strong biblical foundations and practical ministry skills. As a televangelist, she reaches audiences through both radio and television broadcasts, using media as a tool to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ beyond the four walls of the church. Her ministry is marked by a passion to proclaim God’s Word in culturally relevant and creative ways while holding firmly to timeless biblical truth. “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation” (Mark 16:15). A devoted mother, she has been blessed with three beautiful Christian children. Together, they make their home in Delaware, where faith, family, and ministry remain the centerpieces of her life. Academically, she holds a Master’s degree and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Biblical Studies. With a heart for teaching and equipping the next generation, she is deeply committed to raising leaders who can communicate the gospel effectively in today’s digitally advanced, fast-paced world. “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others” (2 Timothy 2:2). Her life’s work reflects a dual passion: rigorous biblical scholarship and effective gospel proclamation. She believes the Word of God must be both studied deeply and shared widely, and she models this by integrating scholarship with Spirit-led ministry. “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). Above all, she treasures her church family, a community that reflects her love for Christ and her dedication to advancing His kingdom. “I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding” (Jeremiah 3:15). Her unwavering commitment is to glorify Christ, serve His people faithfully, and prepare the next generation of leaders to do the same.
Melissa friendy
Co-lead Pastor
Co-Lead Pastor Melissa Friendy is a passionate servant of Christ and a pioneering leader in Purpose in Christ Ministries, where she serves as Co-Founder alongside the pastoral team. Her life is a living embodiment of Proverbs 31:25 “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” From the very beginning of the ministry, Co-Pastor Melissa has been a trailblazer, faithfully using her gifts to help establish a solid foundation for what has become a growing and impactful work of God. Her leadership reflects the heart of Romans 12:11 “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.” Melissa is deeply passionate about her family, treasuring her God-given role as a mother and grandmother. Her devotion to nurturing a Christ-centered home mirrors the calling of Deuteronomy 6:6–7, to impress the Word of God upon the next generation, speaking of it in every season of life. As a co-founder, she brings unique strengths that have been essential to the ministry’s growth. She is computer savvy, creative, and innovative, often crafting systems, resources, and ideas that equip the ministry to function with excellence in the digital age. Like Bezalel in Exodus 31:3, she demonstrates how the Spirit of God equips individuals with wisdom, understanding, and skill for Kingdom service. Melissa’s passion lies in serving the Kingdom of God with joy, ensuring that every part of the ministry advances with clarity, creativity, and Christ-centered focus. Her leadership inspires others to embrace innovation while remaining firmly anchored in Scripture and the mission of the Church. Through every season, Co-Pastor Melissa Friendy continues to live out 1 Corinthians 15:58 “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
YUSUF JACKSON

Pastor Yusuf Jackson is one of the strongest leaders in Purpose in Christ Ministries, faithfully serving as a shepherd and mentor to many. His life has been defined by service, leadership, and a deep commitment to both justice and the Kingdom of God. Before stepping fully into ministry leadership, Pastor Jackson served his community as a Philadelphia Police Officer and later as a District Attorney Detective. His law enforcement career gave him firsthand experience with the realities of justice, accountability, and the struggles people face daily. This foundation not only strengthened his leadership but also instilled in him a passion for truth, fairness, and compassion. His desire to impact the community also led him to run for State Representative, reflecting his heart to be a voice for change and a bridge between faith and civic life. Pastor Jackson is also academically prepared for the work of ministry. He holds an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Manna Bible College in North Carolina. His education equips him to bring theological depth and clarity to his preaching, teaching, and discipleship. At Purpose in Christ Ministries, Pastor Jackson leads a thriving Men’s Ministry, equipping and inspiring men to grow spiritually, lead faithfully, and build stronger families and communities. His teaching is anchored in 1 Corinthians 16:13–14: “Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” Under his leadership, countless men have grown in maturity, integrity, and Christ-centered vision for life. Pastor Jackson is blessed with a beautiful family—his devoted wife Lisa and their three wonderful daughters. Together, they embody the truth of Joshua 24:15—“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Beyond his ministry, he remains deeply committed to community building and addressing social injustice, believing the Gospel of Christ has the power to bring reconciliation, healing, and transformation. He also enjoys life’s joys and adventures: relaxing on the beach, traveling to new places, and riding bikes and motorcycles. In every sphere—law enforcement, politics, ministry, family, and community—Pastor Yusuf Jackson exemplifies servant-leadership and faithfulness. His life is a testimony to Psalm 37:23. “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and he delights in his way.”
KAREN CHRISTOPHER

Pastor Karen Christopher serves as the spiritual covering over Purpose in Christ Ministries, faithfully offering wisdom, prayerful oversight, and discernment that strengthens the life of the church. Her ministry reflects 2 Timothy 4:2—“Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.” She is known for her deep spiritual wisdom, always speaking the Word of God with conviction and grace, whether in or out of season. Her covering is not only positional but spiritual—marked by intercession, counsel, and a steadfast commitment to keeping Christ as the foundation of every work. Beyond her vital role in Purpose in Christ Ministries, Pastor Christopher also serves faithfully in other ministries and Christian organizations, extending her leadership, teaching, and encouragement to the wider Body of Christ. Her influence embodies Proverbs 11:30—“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and the one who is wise saves lives.” At the heart of her calling, Pastor Christopher is a devoted wife of many years, a loving mother, and a steadfast pillar of her family. Her home reflects the truth of Joshua 24:15—“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Her example as a godly wife and mother provides a living testimony of faith, endurance, and grace, showing how ministry begins first within the walls of one’s own home. Her life weaves together family, ministry, and Kingdom service. Whether through teaching, mentoring, or serving in multiple Christian organizations, Pastor Karen Christopher has remained a guiding light, a voice of truth, and a covering of prayer for all who are under her care. Her ministry is also strengthened by her personal anchor in Psalm 138:8: “The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.”

Youth ministry leader
Christian Martinez is a passionate and dedicated youth ministry leader whose life and calling have been deeply shaped by a strong heritage of faith. Born into a God-fearing family with four sisters and one brother, and raised by parents who loved the Lord and faithfully taught him His ways, Christian’s life reflects the fruit of a Christ-centered upbringing. He is also the son of the late minister Hector Martinez, whose legacy of preaching and service continues to inspire Christian’s own ministry journey. From a young age, Christian’s heart for God was evident. Gifted with a powerful and heartfelt singing voice, he leads worship with sincerity that draws people into the presence of God. His love for worship is matched by his devotion to ministering weekly to the congregation and youth, where he finds innovative ways to connect biblical truth with today’s generation. More than a leader, Christian is known as a mature and thoughtful young man, a diligent student of the Word, and a loyal friend who encourages and uplifts those around him. His life is a testimony of how God can raise up the next generation to carry forward the mantle of faith while walking in integrity, excellence, and humility.
